Baby porridge and pear puree

Ingredient­s 2 large ripe pears, peeled, cored and cut into chunks 25ml water Juice of half a lemon 45ml (3 tablespoon­s) dry baby cereal 100ml milk (whichever milk your baby drinks: breast or formula)

Method

1. Place the pear, water and lemon juice in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Lower the heat and let simmer for 10 minutes until soft. Allow to cool down a little and purée with a stick blender.

2. Prepare the cereal by mixing in the milk.

3. Add about 30ml of purée to the cereal and feed your baby.

4. Freeze the rest of the purée.
