Teething biscuits for baby

When you bake it yourself, you know exactly what your baby is getting. Happy sugar-free nibbling

Ingredient­s 250ml (1 cup) cake flour 5ml (1t) baking powder Pinch of cinnamon 20ml (4t) soft margarine 80ml ( cup) cooked gem squash, puréed Method 1. Preheat the oven to 200° C and line a baking tray with baking paper. 2. Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon.

3. Rub the margarine into the flour mixture until it looks like bread crumbs.

4. Add the squash and mix to form a smooth, firm dough.

5. Place the dough on a smooth surface sprinkled with flour.

6. Press flat with your hand to a thickness of about 1.5cm.

7. Cut out about six finger shaped biscuits and place on the baking tray.

8. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
