Moms don’t find the smell of their own baby’s stools of­fen­sive. A study pub­lished in the jour­nal Evo­lu­tion and Hu­man Be­hav­iour says that this could be the re­sult of an evo­lu­tion­ary adap­ta­tion that en­ables us moms to over­come the nat­u­ral in­cli­na­tion of dis­gust at poo in or­der to look af­ter our chil­dren and meet their needs as we need to.
