Eggy bread stars

2 sliced white bread, cut into stars 1 egg ¼ cup milk butter for frying Strawberry jam, fresh berries and icing sugar for serving

1. Whisk egg and milk together and pour into a shallow dish. Dip bread stars into egg mixture.

2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a nonstick pan and fry eggy stars until golden brown on both sides. Serve with a little strawberry jam, fresh berries and a dusting of icing sugar.
