POPCORN GARLANDS

¼ cup popcorn kernels 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon icing sugar (optional) For the string decorations: Large embroidery needle and cotton sewing thread

1. Place popcorn kernels and oil in large heavy-based saucepan and swirl around to coat kernels with oil. Put pot on stove over medium-high heat, place lid on and wait for kernels to start popping. When popping sound slows to about a pop every second or two, remove saucepan from heat.

2. Transfer popcorn to a large bowl and sprinkle icing sugar over (if using).

3. Use needle and thread to make long popcorn strings to decorate your home or hang on your Christmas tree. YB
