Cinnamon semolina porridge
From 8 months
1 cup milk (or formula)
4 tablespoons fine semolina
1 banana
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. Place milk in a small saucepan and stir in the semolina. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring every so often. Reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for about 10 minutes. 2. Remove porridge from heat and let cool. 3. Mash banana and stir into porridge. Sprinkle cinnamon over and serve.
There’s nothing like cinnamon to evoke the sweet smell of Christmas. The spice also has antibacterial and antifungal properties.
