When the day is done and you flop into your bed, take a minute to do this easy ex­er­cise. It is de­signed to strengthen all the lit­tle mus­cles that sup­port and sta­bilise the ver­te­brae in your neck. And be­cause you can do it ly­ing down, it’s the per­fect pre­cur­sor for bed­time.


✓ Lie on your back on your bed with your knees bent. ✓ Put the fist of one hand between your chin and your chest.

✓ Keep your chin rest­ing on your fist, and gen­tly push your head back into your pil­lows.

✓ Hold the po­si­tion for 10 sec­onds and re­peat five times.
