Courses of crawling

Different babies “crawl” differently. Experimentation with different ways of getting around – from bum shuffling and leopard crawling to crawling backwards and bear walking (on their hands and feet) – are all seen in typically developing children. However, the majority of children crawl on their hands and knees (in the traditional sense of crawling), and in the learning process, some of the above modifications are commonly used.
