These UK-developed classes take parent and child through a unique range of activities that enhance every aspect of development. Classes are packed full of age-appropriate exercises and activities, weekly topics and a gentle and complete programme suitable even for newborns. In the infant classes, gentle exercises help replace your baby’s infant reflexes with more mature responses. Fun multisensory stimulation helps them learn new skills. Classes include a carefully designed mixture of physical, multisensory and cognitive games, exercises and activities including music, dancing, singing and much more – and every aspect of your child’s development is covered. Each class is designed to grow with your baby, and the activities accompany their expanding experience of the world.

Extra info: Dads and carers welcome. Breastfeeding facilities are available. Massage classes, CPR courses, nanny training, starting solids course, dietitian and physiotherapist are also available.

Baby’s age From six weeks to four years Website toptots.co.za

During Toptots classes, you learn how to teach your baby vital skills such as crossing the midline, bilateral hand function, problem-solving, auditory and visual discrimination and more. All classes are guided by a trained teacher using ageappropriate and fun activities. This provides both parents and children with a positive, enriching experience during which they bond and grow together. Each 90-minute class includes creative activities, messy play, music time, as well as time for the children to learn to socially interact with one another. All the activities happen with the parent around to take part. It’s a magical bonding moment to be a part of your child’s first learning experience and equips you with the tools to help your child develop at home as well.

Extra info Dads, grannies and carers are welcome to attend. A typical class includes eight to 10 babies. A once-off admin fee of R180 is applicable, which includes a Toptots welcome bag. Bring a change of clothing.
