Play Sense is a playschool programme with a unique curriculum that focuses on imaginary play. Through Play Sense, the teacher focusses on developing the critical soft skills of creativity and collaboration, and the ability to selfregulate and to think critically. Play Sense was founded by occupational therapists Meg Faure (co-author of

Baby Sense and founder of the Baby Sense company) and Lara Schoenfeld (who also founded Nanny ‘n Me).

They really have a passion for young children’s development and offer

practical solutions for parents. The programme is taught in a home by a therapist or teacher who is trained in the Play Sense programme. The group runs as a three-and-a-half-hour programme, three to five days a week.

Extra info: Play Sense is a playschool programme, as opposed to a parentand-baby group. It is an ideal bridge between the familiar comforts of home and the preschool environment children often enter from the year they turn four. It prepares them for that. Each group consists of up to six two- to three-yearolds. The idea is for you to drop your little ones off for the morning, but you’re welcome to stay until your toddler is well settled. Your nanny is also welcome to come along.
