HOPE AFTER TRAGEDY

When my husband and I fell pregnant three months after we got married, we were thrilled. But during our third scan, we received the sad news that I’d miscarried. Our worlds were torn apart and the pain was almost too much to handle. The most difficult part was having to operate to remove the foetus from my womb. We took some time to heal, and then tried again. Now, we’re 33 weeks pregnant. We’ve been given another shot at this, and it’s truly a blessing. I’m enjoying the little kicks from my son, reading books to him and his father talking to him as well. I can’t wait to hold him in my arms for the first time.
