1 Drink some­thing cold, or fizzy like soda wa­ter (avoid sug­ary and/or caf­feinated drinks).

2 Eat choco­late! Ba­bies move around more if moms eat a bit of sugar.

3 Get mov­ing: a few min­utes of ex­er­cise can jog baby into action.

4 Play mu­sic or have a chat. Stud­ies show ba­bies in utero recog­nise mu­sic and are com­forted by the sound of their moth­ers’ voices and may re­spond with move­ment.
