GRANNY’S LITTLE ANGEL

My 62-year-old retired mother has been dying to be a granny for a long time. I’m 29 years old, and for the last four years I’ve heard the same question, “When are you having a baby?” You’d swear babies fall from the sky or are cheap! I’ve always told her to be patient, as it will happen at the right time.

And, this April I found out I was pregnant! I was full of emotions. I shared the news with my mother, and she was so happy. Finally she gets to be a granny. She calls every day to check if I’ve eaten (because her grandchild can’t starve) and if I’m dressed warmly.
