I’M SO PROUD OF YOU
I am writing to you as my wife is 31 weeks pregnant and is looking seriously stunning. She has taken great care of herself throughout the pregnancy by training hard at the gym, eating healthy and visiting a chiro regularly to ensure her posture is aligned with her training routine, all while navigating a significant career change. I believe she is a great inspiration for younger professional women who wish to start a family while changing jobs, lecturing, being newly married and holding senior leadership positions.
Her pregnancy has been such a blessing to us, even though at the start being slightly risky, and our little girl has certainly been a burst of prosperity (our “Lakshmi”) for Shevira and I. During the pregnancy, Shevira was approached to join Gateway Delta as COO based out of Mauritius and was six months pregnant when she left AECOM, where she was a commercial market sector director, to take on this new prestigious role. Since then she has been working in back-to-back video conferences engaging with her new team around Africa and Mauritius. Shevira is a motivated, inspiring and strong woman who, even though very distinguished at a young age in a male-dominated sector, is passionate about mentoring the next generation of talented women to reach the top of their chosen fields too.
Shevira is a great example of a career woman who is navigating it all while still looking gorgeous, staying healthy and oozing success!
