PINK OR BLUE?

-

I’m a first time mom (to be). I’ve always said I’m ”old fashioned” and would not like to find out the sex of the baby. To my surprise, my husband feels the same way. We only got married recently. My pregnancy has been such a rollercoaster ride. I read an article discussing the pros and cons of not knowing Baby’s sex, which really excited me. I must admit it’s been so interesting hearing everyone’s theory and opinions. Based on the linear line theory, it’s a girl (my line started belly button down). My neighbour whose grandma was a midwife is also sure it’s a girl based on ”the way I’m carrying”. Some of my colleagues are very sure it’s a boy just because Baby has calmed me down. Hubby and family are like, ”We just know it’s a boy.” My very own motherly instincts aren’t saying much – or I just can’t hear them…

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage new moms-to-be or first-time moms: do think about trying to wait for birth to know the sex of Baby. It’s fun and an awesome interactive way to develop your anticipation for delivery. I honestly can’t wait to meet my little basketball player or my dancing ballerina.
