DEBUNKED!

SHAVING IT ALL OFF WILL MAKE A BABY’S HAIR THICKER

-

Nope, it won’t. Hair grows from a follicle beneath the scalp. What you do to existing hair on the head has no effect on future growth. The hair might just look or feel thicker after regrowing, because now all the ends are blunt and the same length. If hair is left alone, there will be hairs of many lengths. Babies commonly lose some, or even all of the hair with which they were born. New hair can start coming in at about four months and could be completely different in colour and texture to the baby hair. But, ultimately, the thickness of your baby’s hair depends on genetics.
