The point of it is to raise awareness around bees, their needs and what gardeners can do to create a favourable environment for them. Bees are the VIPs – very important pollinators – of the plant world… About a third of our food crops depend on them for pollination. Share bee facts with your children, and model how to behave if a bee comes close. Bees are not out to get you! They are our friends.
