APPLE OATS
INGREDIENTS
•1cup of apples, diced, and sliced for garnish
• ⅔ cup apple juice
• ⅓ cup water
• sprinkle of cinnamon
• sprinkle of nutmeg
• 60g rolled oats, uncooked
METHOD
1. Combine the apples, juice, water, cinnamon and nutmeg, and bring to a boil.
2. Stir in the rolled oats. Cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Cover and let stand for a few minutes before serving.
❱❱ NOTE Oats lower cholesterol, are low on the glycemic index and keep you full for long. Apples add even more fibre.
