FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

GAME DRAW THE FAMILY, DECORATE THE HOME!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

■ Large sheets of paper, or paper taped together, so that the whole body of each person fits onto one paper

■ Pages of old magazines to add for the clothing on your pictures

■ Wax crayons or paint to colour in, draw with or paint

WHAT TO DO

■ Lay your toddler on the paper – draw around his body. Make a body outline of the whole family, each on a different piece of paper.

■ Let your toddler help you fill in the eyes, ears, nose and so on.

■ Tear out paper from old magazines and paste onto the bodies for “clothing”. ■ Stick your whole family up on the wall.

WHY?

■ To promote body awareness.

■ It’s holiday time and family time! Doing this sort of activity helps to create a sense of unity and belonging in the family. ●
