Broccoli puree
PREP + COOK TIME 15 MINUTES (+ COOLING) MAKES 1 CUP (12 TABLESPOONS)
Coarsely chop the stems of 250g broccoli, separate the rest into florets. Steam broccoli stems and florets until tender; drain. Cool slightly; blend or process broccoli until smooth, add up to 2 tablespoons of breast milk or cooled boiled water. Give your child as much broccoli puree as desired.
TIPS Store, covered, in the fridge for up to 1 day. Puree is suitable to freeze, in 1-tablespoon portions in ice-cube trays, covered, for up to 1 month. SUITABLE FROM 6 MONTHS
