Cut, fold and stick this charming paper angel to decorate a table or window sill. She’s a little tricky to get right, but the Christmas cheer she brings makes the effort worthwhile!

-

Set aside some quiet time to create this cute paper angel. Read all the instructions first, so you know what is coming. If you want to make more than one angel, photocopy the pages first, so you have more sets of the cut-outs with which to work. Apart from that, you need sharp scissors, glue and some enthusiasm. Crank up the Christmas carols and get to work!

HALO

Cut, fold and stick the halo together, and then attach it to the back of the angel’s head. Do this last. Tilt the halo so that it hovers over the angel’s head.

TIP Cut out the inside of the halo only after you’ve glued the two sides together; it’s half the work, and makes for a neater finish.

YOU WILL NEED:

›› Small sharp-pointed scissors ›› Stick of glue

 ?? ?? HEAD
HEAD

 ?? ?? BODY: PART 1 ARM 1 ARM 2
Here you have the top and the bottom parts of the angel’s body. Complete each part first before you stick them together. Glue the arms in place last, on the two circles at the sides of the body. NOTE 01 and 02 are the marks that indicate where the head should be stuck to the body. 03 and 04 are for the wings. BODY: PART 2 WINGS
As you did with the halo, first cut out the wings and stick them together before you attach them to the back of the completed angel.
