STAR OF THE SHOW
MAKES 6 INGREDIENTS
• 45ml (3T) water
• 10ml (2t) gelatine powder
• 200g white chocolate, chopped
• 500ml (2 cups) cream
• 300g strawberries, quartered
• edible silver balls and extra berries for serving and decoration
METHOD:
1 Pour the water into a dish and add the gelatine. Let stand until the gelatine has absorbed the water.
2 In a small saucepan, melt 150g of the chocolate and the cream over medium heat. Stir constantly.
3 Remove saucepan from the heat, and stir in the gelatine mixture for about a minute.
4 Pour into a bowl and whip for three minutes or until cooled.
5 Divide first the strawberries and then the chocolate mix between six little glass bowls. Leave to set for about
45 to 60 minutes.
6 Melt the rest of the chocolate in the microwave on the defrost setting. Stir every 30 seconds until melted.
7 Spread a thin layer of the chocolate on baking paper. Just before it hardens completely, press out stars with a cookie cutter. Sprinkle the stars with silver balls.
8 Allow the stars to set, and gently lift them from the paper. Decorate each bowl with a star and extra berries.
