#Crafting: Quick caterpillar

Combine pegs and pom-poms to make these wonderful worms.

YOU WILL NEED

• Wooden clothes pegs

• Double-sided sticky tape

• Mini pom-poms

• Tipp-Ex

METHOD

1 Stick the tape on the one side of the peg.

2 Stick a row of pom-poms to the tape.

3 Use Tipp-Ex to create two little eyes on the pom-pom that is on the opening end of the peg.

SUPER SKILLS

Encourage your child to play with the pegs by pinching the back in order to open and close them. This is a very good exercise that develops fine motor skills. Ask him to line up a whole row of caterpillars on the edge of the tablecloth, and then remove them. His fingers will get stronger in no time.
