PAY IT FORWARD!

Before falling pregnant, I had heard both positive and negative stories about how moms treated each other. From the judgy trolls online who have everything to say about how terrible another mom is for giving their baby formula instead of breastfeeding to the amazing women who hold other moms up for trying and doing their best for their kids. I had no idea that I would find myself among the most incredible group of women who have blessed and loved me throughout my pregnancy – and I’m only at 23 weeks! My tribe of amazing moms have reassured me all my late-night worrying about my pregnancy and my baby is totally normal; they’ve made me feel beautiful on the days when I feel exceptionally round and not like myself. They’ve made me laugh on my super-down days, and they’ve told me it’s okay to take another nap when I feel guilty about the five naps I’ve already taken that day. They’ve not only shown me that they love me but that they also love my baby – and that’s all I could ever ask for.

It really does take a village! Not only to raise a child but to raise a good mother. I will definitely be paying it forward and help grow our tribe.

I can’t wait for them to finally meet my baby and for my baby to know every single woman that contributed to their mommy’s huge heart.
