CARROT CAKE PORRIDGE
MAKES 3T
INGREDIENTS
• ¾ cup full-cream milk (or water)
• 2T porridge flour of your choice (grind up oats, barley or brown rice in your food processor until a coarse flour forms)
• 3T grated carrot
• 1T almond, organic peanut-, cashew- or macadamia-nut butter
• ¼t dried ginger
• ¼t dried cinnamon
• ¼t dried nutmeg
• ½t organic maple syrup
METHOD
1 In a small pot on the stove, bring milk to a simmer.
2 Add the rest of the ingredients, and stir for 2 minutes or until the milk has been absorbed and the porridge is heated through.
