Clean & tidy
To get rid of the smell of juice or milk in a bottle or sippy cup, fill it with water, add ¼t of bicarbonate of soda, and soak overnight.
SHERYL FLINT
If you need more storage space in your baby’s nursery, use beautiful handbags or coloured canvas shoppers to decorate her room. Hang them on hooks on the wall and fill with socks, nappies and toiletries. They look pretty, and it costs much less than buying more furniture.
JAYNE VAN DER MERWE
If your baby’s room has tiles or wooden floors, it’s great to add a little of their baby shampoo to the water for cleaning the floor. I love the fragrance, and every time I walk into her room, it puts a smile on my face.
NYAKALLO LEKOTA
Use a mixture of 5ml vanilla essence in about half a cup of water to freshen the air when your baby vomits in your car or on the carpet. Put the mixture in a spray bottle, and spray it on the affected area after you’ve cleaned it.
