APPLE OR PEAR PUREE
INGREDIENTS
■ 1 cup apples or pears, peeled, cored and cut into pieces
■ ¼ cup water, preferably filtered
METHOD
1 Place the apples or pears and water into a stainless steel saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes until soft.
2 Puree using some of the cooking liquid to thin to desired consistency. Spoon into sterilised ice cube trays, let cool to room temperature and freeze until required.
