Whether your c-section is planned in advance or done suddenly to save you or your baby, a little knowledge about what to expect goes a long way.

The very first thing to remember is that in the case of an emergency caesarean, your gynaecologist will have a good reason for doing the procedure. Rest assured that your medical team want what is best for you and your baby, and accept that this might veer off of the plan you had in mind.
