Tropical puree
INGREDIENTS
• 2 ripe mangoes or 2 cups frozen mango pieces
• 3 bananas, peeled and cut into pieces
METHOD
1. Peel the mango, then cut the flesh off the stone. Chop the flesh into pieces.
2. Put the mango flesh and banana pieces into a small saucepan. Half cover with water and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Blend to a smooth puree.
4. Whip a few tablespoons of the puree into your toddler’s milk for a naturally flavoured homemade milkshake.
