EXPLAINING TYPE 1 DIABETES
Type 1 Diabetes is a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. Lauren sees her diabetic educator every three months to ensure she has this illness under control as best she can. However, being pregnant, she now visits every month.
