#CRAFTING Lick, then stick

YOU WILL NEED

• Ice cream sticks

• Paint

• White paper

• Khokis

• Pencil

• Paint brushes

• Glue

• Box cutter

INSTRUCTIONS

1 Paint the ice cream sticks in a colour of your choice, and allow them to dry.

2 Cut the white paper to size.

3 Use the khoki to draw a simple picture on the paper, or trace a picture with pencil, and get your child to go over the lines with the khoki. Paint the picture.

4 Line the sticks up tightly, and glue the paper in place. Allow to dry.

5 Use the box cutter to cut the paper in the grooves to separate the sticks again.

6 Shuffle the sticks, and then give the whole pile to your child to see if she can build the puzzle and reveal the picture again. ●
