WHAT TO DO

-

1. Paint the cube white (or any colour that suits your scheme).

2. Use your glitter paint to paint the inside of the glass jars. Label them from 1 to 24, either by painting the numbers or sticking them on.

3. Attach the lids of the jars to three sides of the cube with double-sided tape. Plan out carefully where you want the jars to be, as once that stuff sticks, it really sticks.

4. Pop a tiny gift in each jar and screw them onto a lid on the cube. Mix up the numbers so your child has to hunt a little for that day’s gift.

5. You can also decorate the rest of the surface with any Christmas decorations or stickers you have. Use the Prestik or sticky tape to stick them on, so you can easily remove them and change them to make the experience all the more exciting for your child.

6. Every morning your child unscrews one jar to reveal the little surprise. Smaller children might need some help with twisting off the bottles, but encourage your older toddler to use those fine motor skills. ●
