YOUR YOUNGEST HA THREE NAMES! HOW DID THIS COME ABOUT?

Her first name is Bohlale. It means wisdom.

I came up with the name because

I believed that my pregnancy was ”Bohlale bja modimo,” which means God’s wisdom, not mine. I found out about my pregnancy at two weeks. I’d gone to the doctor due to hot flashes, but was told that I wasn’t pregnant. Deep down I knew though that my little gal was growing inside me. At five weeks I bought the pregnancy test, and boooom! Pregnant! Wow! The joy and happiness! So Bohlale was the first name that I gave her. Then her daddy said ”Reatlehile wa Papa,” so that became her second name, and then her brother said ”Lesedi wa Lethabo,” so that became her third name! It means light. We all named her!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FAMILY.

Bohlale Reatlehile Lesedi is three months old in the cover picture. I am 37, and she has an older brother, Lethabo, who is 7 years old. Her daddy is Thabo Moloi. We asked for a daughter, and God blessed us with this little princess. (Reatlehile means ”we are greatly blessed by God’s infinite grace.”)

WHOM DOES SHE TAKE AFTER?

She is her daddy’s twinny and his little princess! I would say she takes 70 percent after him as she is tall, and has his lips. The fingers, legs and toes and the richness of her hair is all from me. And she is a little fighter – if she doesn’t want to do something, she doesn’t!

SO SHE ALREADY HAS A BUDDING PERSONALITY!

Yes! She is bubbly and full of energy – always smiling. Baby Bohlale likes dancing with her daddy and singing with Mkhulu (her grandfather). She loves being entertained a lot these days as she is getting older. We love taking photographs, so it’s a good thing she loves the camera too. Other favourites of hers are bathtime or any opportunity to be in water. ●
