Not so grea either
CAFFEINE
Caffeine is a stimulant that crosses the placenta and affects your baby’s heart rate and breathing. The research linking caffeine to pregnancy complications is, however, inconclusive. Caffeine is a diuretic, which means it helps eliminate fluids from the body. This can result in water and calcium loss. The American Food and Drug Administration and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommend no more caffeine than that found in two cups of coffee, per day. Remember there is also caffeine in some iced teas, cola drinks and chocolate.
SWEETENERS
There are no specific safe recommendations regarding the use of artificial sweeteners in pregnancy. If you are not sure about whether something is safe to consume, always check with your doctor/midwife first.
