PLAY NOW, GAIN LATER

-

Why is it important that your child learns these things while he plays?

■ BILATERAL COORDINATION It helps your child to do certain basic actions better, such as running, hopping and skipping.

■ UPPER BODY STRENGTH A strong upper body ensures that your child develops strong shoulders. This, in turn, helps him get a good grip on his pencil, which enables him to do the necessary movements needed to write. It also prevents him from tiring quickly when writing.

■ VISUAL SKILLS Your little one will have stronger eye muscles that will enable him to flowingly and comfortably follow movements. He will also be able to adjust his focus between the

blackboard and his books more easily.

■ SPATIAL ORIENTATION Good spatial orientation will help your child to develop awareness of his body later on. This then, will help him to more easily learn directional indicators such as left, right, up and down.

■ MIDLINE CROSSING Your little one will be more capable of following instructions, like reading and writing, which requires midline crossing.

■ DIRECTION It helps by developing your child’s spatial orientation.

■ STRATEGY It helps him to start thinking critically. Problem solving is important to your child’s development.

■ BALANCE forms an important part of your child’s everyday movements, and helps him to develop skills such as hopping and running. ●
