1. Don’t eat anything your gran wouldn’t recognise as food. 2. Don’t eat foods containing ingredient­s that you can’t pronounce. 3. Avoid food products that carry health claims (broccoli doesn’t have to claim it’s healthy for you, it just is.) 4. Eat meat or other foods from animals that eat grass (labelled as free range).

5. If it came from a plant, eat it.

If it was made in a plant, don’t eat it. 6. Eat food cooked by humans, not corporatio­ns.

7. It’s not real food if it’s called by the same name in every language (think Big Mac, Coke or Cheetos).

8. Don’t eat breakfast cereals that change the colour of the milk in the bowl.
