Up until I found out I was pregnant – I was six weeks already – I was quite dependent on pain tablets, as I suffer from terrible headaches. I am so worried this may have affected my baby. I took one tablet a day.

Stopping smoking, drinking and quitting recreational drugs now is the best way to ensure the health of your baby. A proper diet and nutrient supplementation programme coupled with a gentle exercise regime is also important.
