Media gets up close and personal

King Cetshwayo District Municipali­ty recently hosted travel writers from around KZN. They were treated to a full range of tourist experience­s including this encounter with an elephant in the Thula Thula Private Game Reserve.

ESHOWE and Melmoth put their best foot forward as a group of 34 journalist­s from all genre of the media were shown around the King Cetshwayo District last week.

The tour, which included visits to many tourist attraction­s in uMfolozi, uMhlathuze, uMlalazi and Mthonjanen­i local municipali­ties, was launched at the Inhamba Lodge on Monday evening by King Cetshwayo Deputy Mayor, Cllr AH Mthembu.

After four days of travel and entertainm­ent, the group was thanked for their attendance by the King Cetshwayo Mayor, Cllr NNP Mkhulisi who addressed the delegates after the tour at the Ngamla Guest House outside Empangeni.
