Media gets up close and personal

King Cetshwayo District Municipality recently hosted travel writers from around KZN. They were treated to a full range of tourist experiences including this encounter with an elephant in the Thula Thula Private Game Reserve.

ESHOWE and Melmoth put their best foot forward as a group of 34 journalists from all genre of the media were shown around the King Cetshwayo District last week.

The tour, which included visits to many tourist attractions in uMfolozi, uMhlathuze, uMlalazi and Mthonjaneni local municipalities, was launched at the Inhamba Lodge on Monday evening by King Cetshwayo Deputy Mayor, Cllr AH Mthembu.

After four days of travel and entertainment, the group was thanked for their attendance by the King Cetshwayo Mayor, Cllr NNP Mkhulisi who addressed the delegates after the tour at the Ngamla Guest House outside Empangeni.
