Unidentifi­ed deceased man’s next of kin sought

AFTER finding a badly decomposed body hanging from a tree in a gum plantation, Mtubatuba police are appealing to anyone who may be missing a loved one, to contact them.

The body was found on 2 February by a young herdsman herding cattle along the railway line through the gum plantation in KwaManandi area.

The man is estimated to be about 35 years old and he was wearing a jacket with the word ‘Identity’ written on it.

His jacket was cuffed with a white collar, he was also wearing khaki jeans and white takkies.

In his pocket there was a red toothbrush.

The remains were taken to Mtubatuba government mortuary and an inquest docket has been opened.
