Marine strand­ings work­shop

THE KZN Marine An­i­mal Stranded Net­work is putting to­gether its fourth work­shop fo­cus­ing on what to do in the case of marine an­i­mals be­com­ing stranded.

The First Re­sponse for Marine Stranded An­i­mals work­shop is to be held on 14 April in St Lu­cia.

Train­ing in rst re­sponse for the fol­low­ing will be pro­vided: dol­phins, seals, whales, pen­guins, tur­tles, birds and whale sharks.

This fol­lows a suc­cess­ful work­shop on the same topic re­cently held in Richards Bay.

The event will run from 9am to 3pm and will be held at the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife au­di­to­rium.

There is a R20 en­trance fee and a light lunch will be pro­vided.
