Experts share information with the public
SHARING helpful information on drug abuse and the links to satanic and occult activities will be the focus of a three-day community event in Richards Bay next month.
The event aimed at bringing information and hope to the community will see a panel of subject matter experts share their experiences and knowledge, equipping locals with the tools to help in the fight against substance abuse.
The Abundant Life Centre (TALC) in partnership with woman activist Trudy Pitout will host the ‘Warfare with a difference’ from 4 to 6 May at Richards Bay Family Care’s Huberta Hall in Bottlebrush Bend, Veldenvlei.
Seasoned specialists will talk on drugs, satanism and occult activities and share life-building information with the community, free of charge.
Leading the presentations are Occult and Drug Substance Abuse specialist Dr Kobus Jonker, former Commander of Organised Crime (SANAB) - Stan Turketti and Life Building Coach and Pastor Ryno Turketti who will share their experiences, testimonies and success stories.
Event coordinator, Pitout believes an informed community is a wise one and is therefore encouraging members of the public to take advantage of these information sharing sessions with some of the best minds on these subjects.
‘We are all painfully aware that substance use and dealing is an enormous threat to the well-being of our community and our workforce.
‘Our education system is severely compromised owing to substance abuse and dabbling in the occult.
‘It is true that through awareness, prayer and life-building activities we can mitigate the impact of this threat and this is why this community event ‘Warfare with a Difference’ was born.
‘The devastation which drug abuse causes is evident in our communities, and families are suffering and desperately crying out for help; we want to bring information to our communities to help them identify the telltale signs of drug abuse and other harmful activities.
‘Our guests will present on Friday evening at 7pm, Saturday morning from 9am to 11.30am and will close off the event on Sunday morning with a session at 9am,’ said Pitout.
