Casino launches new Salon Privé area
IT WAS an evening filled with amazing prizes, exquisite food and glitzy glamour when Umfolozi Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort officially launched its refurbished Salon Privé area last week.
Some 80 guests attended the magical launch, which had been spearheaded by new Marketing Manager Nishara Naidoo, and boasted stunning decor, cars and spectacular lighting.
Naidoo also treated guests to first hand service straight from the executive chefs who stepped out of the kitchen and into the limelight on the evening.
Umfolozi General Manager, Pam Nagappa, addressed local gamers together with those from neighbouring regions, welcoming guests with R500 free-play gifts before highlighting key upgrades to the Privé area which they could look forward to enjoying.
‘It is truly a special time for Umfolozi as we are now able to offer you an upmarket exclusive area with more machines (an additional 15 new slot games), a beautiful walk-up service bar, separate tables area with new vibrant carpeting and decor,’ she said.
The new Privé area further offers an additional cash desk to speed up the cash-for-chip exchange and payout process as well as a new ATM and gun safe area for added convenience and security.
Male and female guests can now also enjoy the newlyrevamped restrooms in the Privé and lobby areas, complete with brand new toilets with watersaving features, as well as contemporary new tiling.
To accommodate this move, the Umfolozi crèche and muchloved Kids Zone have also been relocated to accommodate the addition of new child-friendly restrooms, more conveniently located in these areas.
And while Umfolozi continues to establish itself as a leading player in the gaming industry in South Africa, according to Nagappa, there’s still more on the cards.
‘Just to further whet your appetite, there are many wonderful and exciting things to come.
‘Our new Summer Splash promotion will see more than R2-million in prizes, including two cars being given away.
‘There are also a host of festive activities and entertainment lined up including a summer water park with slides and fun for the whole family,’ she said.
