EHS’s super sevens
SLEEPLESS nights, hard work and dedication paid off for four Empangeni High School matric pupils who passed their exams with top honours when results were released on Friday. Andiswa Ndunge, Krisnannair Anuroop, Yikhokonke Kunene and Lethokuhle Mgabi all received seven distinctions, with Mgabi claiming the district’s top achiever’s accolade. All four juggled their schoolwork while also excelling in extramural activities throughout the year. Ndunge will be heading to the University of KZN to study medicine, Anuroop will pursue financial maths at the University of Pretoria, while Kunene will follow in the footsteps of his family members and study medicine at Wits University.
