Zululand has certainly got talent
THIS year’s Zululand’s Got Talent auditions saw a colourful mix of entries - from powerful love ballads to jazzy saxophones, and even a bit of opera in the mix.
The auditions were held on Tuesday at the Dros restaurant at the Tuzi Gazi Waterfront. The talent on display was impressive, but ultimately, the judges selected only a handful of performers to compete in the finals, set to take place during this year’s Dolos Festival. The judges and crowd were blown away by Bonita’s excellent rendition of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
The a cappella group Sky sang beautifully, while Terence pulled a few heartstrings with his saxophone.
The sweet voices of Veronica Dreyer and Lynn secured themselves each a spot in the finals, while CJ, Donnevin and Timothy awed the audience with their incredible dance moves.
