Meerensee residents upset over reckless motorists

Driving badly means nothing to people. If you follow the rules they may think you’re stupid and hijack you, you will never see your car again. Even the police will not help you. The best thing you can do is to stay alert all the time, anything can happen.

Hennie Randall

But you people have to do it every day because the people behave like criminals. Even put cameras up to catch the reckless ones who don’t have respect for the road and other road users.

Residents of Birdswood are also experiencing the same reckless behaviour. We are also ‘gatvol’ of the traffic in Birdswood. The traffic is very, very congested between 6.30 and 7.30am.

Wayne Jubber

Robots and stop streets are a nightmare, never mind traffic circles. You can no longer go through or pull away at a green traffic light as drivers simply go through red traffic lights with absolute abandon and impunity.

Wayne Johnston

The traffic police are right there and do nothing. It is an absolute joke. The law of lawlessness.

Roy Kenny Moses

In broad daylight at the John Ross school robot in Jacaranda Road disrespectful drivers don’t stop.

Tyrese Mbhele

One day we also need to discuss those who use motorbikes. They are the worst!

Dewald Massyn

This town has some major issues. The governing party and mayor is letting the citizens down. It’s a shame.

Lita-Roza Brighton

No one in this town adheres to the rules of the road and there is no policing. The whole country is lawless.

Marie Erasmus

Very bad at the four-way stop to Mandlazini. Taxi drivers and cars believe they don’t have to stop. Please do something!
