Model pulls no punches in anti-bul­ly­ing fight

PRO­MOT­ING an end to bul­ly­ing in schools, lo­cal model Neena Bezuiden­hout re­cently rolled out her an­tibul­ly­ing cam­paign, ‘Never Look Back’ at Richards Bay Sec­ondary School.

The cam­paign aims to in­spire, mo­ti­vate and em­power both the vic­tim and per­pe­tra­tor and cre­ate aware­ness and be­hav­iour change with re­gard to bul­ly­ing.

For the past four years, Neena has used var­i­ous plat­forms to ed­u­cate the youth to help put an end to bul­ly­ing as she shares her per­sonal en­counter of be­ing a vic­tim and how she over­came the or­deal.

She high­lights phys­i­cal, ver­bal, so­cial and cy­ber bul­ly­ing and strives to ed­u­cate the youth on this de­struc­tive act.

Neena is also se­ri­ous about spread­ing the mes­sage to young women to be them­selves unashamedly, and pas­sion­ate about help­ing peo­ple to har­monise their in­ner beauty and strength with their outer ap­pear­ance. Fur­ther­more, she dreams of be­com­ing an im­age con­sul­tant and busi­ness­woman.
