Ex­pe­ri­ence cul­tural mu­sic and dance in the Bay

PRE­PARE for some thrilling dance se­quences and killer mu­sic ar­range­ments when the Ind­abuko African Orches­tra take cen­tre stage at the uMh­lathuze Mu­nic­i­pal­ity’s au­di­to­rium in Richards Bay to­day (Thurs­day) at 2pm. All Zu­l­u­lan­ders are in­vited to at­tend the fundrais­ing show.

Led by founder and Chair­per­son Bon­gani Ng­cobo, the group will be us­ing only hand-made in­dige­nous in­stru­ments and var­i­ous dance se­quences as part of their per­for­mance. This unique con­cept fea­tures many well­known artists across KZN, in­clud­ing Bavikile Bhengu of uMakhweyane fame, maskandi gi­ant Hlan­gan­isa and Agrippa Ma­jozi. Ac­cord­ing to Ng­cobo, they will use the plat­form to raise funds for their up­com­ing Amer­i­can and Eng­land trip. ‘The show is for free, but Zu­l­u­lan­ders can sup­port us with do­na­tions,’ he said.
