Comedy bash with Tash in the Bay
BACK in Richards Bay next month to support a community organisation with their fund-raising efforts, comedian Natashia Portrag will entertain guests with her new, exciting, fresh comedy show.
Hosted by the Richards Bay Cultural Society at Brackenham Community Hall on 16 November from 8pm, the comedy night ‘Bash with Tash’ will assist in raising funds for the organisation’s activities.
After her sold-out shows nationally and making headlines as an Indian comedian to take her proudly South African Comedy to Australia and now in London, she hopes to have a full house when she returns to Richards Bay, promising fans a jampacked line-up of comedy that will leave her audience in stitches.
The well known social media sensation, Bash with Tash’s characters are hilarious, eccentric and over the top; however, the woman behind them is the humble Natashia who loves enriching people’s lives through comedy.
All of the side-splitting characters are inspired by reality and everyday life.
Her favourite amusing alter-ego is Tash the ‘Langara Queen’. Her ability to change her accents come naturally, as she is able to hear a person speak for a few minutes and then is able to impersonate them.
