Pupil stabs school mate

A LEARNER of Lizwe High School in Mandlazini was arrested on Monday and charged with assault and grievous bodily harm after stabbing another pupil at school last week.

According to Richards Bay SAPS spokesperson Captain Debbie Ferreira, the incident happened on Thursday morning at about 8am as learners were entering their classrooms.

The accused cornered the victim in the classroom and drew a knife and stabbed the victim on his left shoulder.
