Budget welcomed
THABANI Shale, CEO of the Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) has welcomed the positive messages outlined in the Minister of
Finance’s maiden budget policy statement.
‘He has emphasised the need to restore good governance and fight corruption in all of its forms,’ said Shale.
‘The key is the employment of qualified, competent and incorruptible officials.’ Shale also said the focus on reducing the build-up of unpaid invoices in provincial departments would improve the survival rate of small businesses, which was the core focus of the ZCCI as an organisation.
